Privacy Policy

How Callbend handles information on this website during pre-launch. The product itself, when generally available, will have a more comprehensive Customer Data Processing Addendum.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to the marketing websites at callbend.com and callbend.ai during the pre-launch period. Callbend is a product of IWN Ventures LLC.

Once Callbend launches and customers begin using the platform itself, the platform will be governed by the Callbend Customer Agreement and a Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which will describe how customer data and end-user data are handled at much greater detail than this policy covers.

Information we collect

These websites are static informational pages. They do not have user accounts, contact forms, analytics scripts, or third-party trackers. The information we collect on these sites is limited to:

  • Email correspondence. If you email us at navin@iwnventures.com, we receive your email address, your name (if provided), and the contents of your message.
  • Server access logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically records standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, timestamp, referrer) for security, abuse prevention, and basic operational monitoring. We do not aggregate or analyze these logs for marketing purposes.

How we use it

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Reply to inquiries you send us, including early-access requests.
  • Maintain a record of business correspondence.
  • Detect and respond to abuse, fraud, or security incidents on the sites.
  • Comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. We do not share it with marketing partners.

Sharing & vendors

The websites are built and operated using a small number of third-party vendors, each of whom may process information necessary to provide their service:

  • Cloudflare — DNS, content delivery, hosting, and DDoS protection.
  • Microsoft 365 — email and document storage for our business correspondence.
  • Resend — outbound email delivery from @callbend.com.

We do not share information beyond what each vendor requires to deliver their service. We will disclose information if compelled by valid legal process or to protect our rights, safety, or the safety of others.

Cookies & tracking

We don't track you on this site. No cookies, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. The only client-side state stored in your browser is what your browser does by default (cache, etc.).

If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting tool (e.g., Cloudflare Web Analytics or Plausible), update this policy, and disclose what's collected before turning it on.

Retention

Email correspondence is kept for as long as it remains relevant to our business records, typically several years. Server access logs are retained per Cloudflare's default retention policy (currently around seven days for raw access logs). You can ask us to delete email correspondence at any time — see Your rights.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct it.
  • Ask us to delete it.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email navin@iwnventures.com with the subject line "Privacy request." We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

These sites are not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International users

Callbend is a product of IWN Ventures LLC, based in Georgia, United States, and our vendors process data in the United States and other regions. If you visit these sites from outside the United States, you understand that any information you submit is processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

When the product launches

The Callbend platform — the actual call deflection product — will process call audio, transcripts, end-user metadata, and other PII on behalf of customers. None of that processing is happening today.

Before any of that begins, we will publish:

  • A Customer Agreement governing the relationship between Callbend and our paying customers.
  • A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) describing how customer data and end-user data are handled, retained, and protected.
  • A Sub-processors list naming every vendor that touches customer or end-user data.
  • A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for customers in HIPAA-regulated industries.

Those documents will be linked from the customer dashboard and from this site. They will, when active, supersede this Privacy Policy with respect to the platform itself; this policy will continue to govern the marketing site.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, our vendors, or applicable law. The "Effective" date at the top will reflect any updates. Material changes will be called out clearly.
